Using the Timeline feature
The timeline is the chronology of the case itself: hearings, filings, deadlines, contracts and correspondence, in date order. Andri builds it from the documents you upload, and you can correct it by hand.
Open the timeline
The timeline opens as a side panel, so you keep your place in the case.
From the cases dashboard, click the timeline icon on the case card, next to the chat icon. Inside a case, click Open Timeline at the top of the left sidebar.
Events appear once your documents have finished processing. Until then the panel shows that Andri is still building the timeline.
What appears on the timeline
Every entry is an event in the matter itself, not an action someone took in Andri. Andri classifies each one by what it is in the case, such as a hearing, a filing, a judgment, a payment, a deadline or a piece of correspondence.
Each event carries a title, a date, and a short description where the source document supports one. Events run oldest first, so the panel reads as the case from the beginning.
The timeline does not record what people did in Andri. For document uploads, chat activity, sharing and other account actions, use the audit log.
Add, edit or delete an event
Correct the timeline whenever Andri has read a date wrong, or add what never made it into a document.
Click an event to open it for editing.
Change the Title, pick a different Date from the calendar, or rewrite the Description.
Click Save. A title and a date are both required.
To add an event yourself, click + Add event at the bottom of the timeline. To remove one, open it, click Delete and confirm; the event is removed from the case.
Events you changed by hand are marked Edited, so you can tell your corrections from what Andri extracted.
