Link an existing matter to a BaseNeQXt dossier

Link a matter you already have to its dossier from the matter's knowledge base. Only the matter owner links a matter, and only to a dossier from their own caseload.

Link the matter

The matter's owner links it from the matter's knowledge base.

1. Open the matter and go to its Matter knowledge base.

2. In the toolbar, switch from Andri to BaseNet.

3. Click Link BaseNet dossier.

4. Search by name, dossier number, client or search code, and choose the dossier.

You can also link from the chat: when you ask about BaseNeQXt in a matter that is not linked yet, Andri shows the matter owner a list of their dossiers to choose from.

Bring documents into the matter

With the toolbar on BaseNet, the knowledge base lists the documents in the linked dossier. Select the ones Andri should read and click Sync to Andri to add them to the matter. Each sync is a one-time copy, never a mirror.

Link another dossier or unlink the matter

With the toolbar on BaseNet, click the name of the linked dossier. Choose another dossier to link the matter there instead, or click Unlink and then Confirm unlink. After unlinking, Andri no longer reads from or saves to that dossier, and nothing in BaseNeQXt is deleted.
