Start a new matter from a BaseNeQXt dossier

When you create a matter, you can choose its BaseNeQXt dossier first. Andri links the new matter to that dossier and names the matter after the dossier's number and name, until you type a name of your own. The BaseNet dossier field appears once you are signed in to BaseNeQXt, for a matter in any jurisdiction.

Link the new matter to an existing dossier

The list shows the five newest active dossiers in your own caseload in BaseNeQXt, where you are the handling or responsible lawyer; search to find another.

1. Click New Matter.

2. In BaseNet dossier (optional), search by name or dossier number and choose the dossier.

3. Check the Matter Name and create the matter.

Create a new dossier in BaseNeQXt at the same time

When the matter has no dossier in BaseNeQXt yet, Andri creates one for you when it creates the matter.

1. Click New Matter.

2. In BaseNet dossier (optional), choose Create a new dossier in BaseNeQXt at the bottom of the list.

3. Search for the client by name and choose the client for the new dossier.

4. Check the Matter Name and create the matter.

Andri creates the dossier in BaseNeQXt for that client and links the matter to it. The new dossier takes the matter's name, the client you chose, and you as handling and responsible lawyer; you add any other dossier details in BaseNeQXt. Choose a client that already exists in BaseNeQXt; add a new client there first. In Andri, new dossiers start from New Matter. To leave the dossier out after all, choose Don't create a dossier.
