Cannot connect a personal Microsoft account to Microsoft 365
Andri only supports business or enterprise Microsoft accounts for the Microsoft 365 integration. Personal Microsoft accounts such as Outlook.com, Hotmail.com, or Live.com will not connect.
Symptom
When you try to connect Microsoft 365 inside a case, one of the following happens:
You are unable to complete the connection after signing in with a personal Microsoft account.
The connection is rejected or fails during the sign-in step.
You see a message that your account type is not supported.
Cause
The Microsoft 365 integration requires a Microsoft business or enterprise account, such as a Microsoft 365 for Business subscription or an Azure AD account managed by your firm. Free personal Microsoft accounts are not supported for this integration.
Solution
Check that the Microsoft account you are using is a business or enterprise account, not a personal account.
Make sure the account is part of your organisation's Microsoft 365 tenant.
Sign in again with the business account during the connection flow.
If your firm does not have a Microsoft 365 business subscription, you cannot use this integration. You can still use Andri's other features, including the case email system, without connecting Microsoft 365.
Creating an Andri account with a personal Outlook or Hotmail address is also not supported. Use your firm's business email address for your account. See Which email address can I use to create an Andri account?
