After-hours reflections: what Andri reviews overnight
After-hours reflections are off until you switch them on. When you enable them, Andri looks back each night over the cases you worked on that day and emails you only if it finds something you may have missed or something worth a second look. Nothing is reviewed and no email is sent while the setting is off.
It is a personal setting. Turning it on affects only the cases you own, and it does not change what your colleagues receive.
Turn reflections on or off
The switch is in your personal settings, not in company settings, so you do not need an administrator.
Open Personalisation from the top navigation.
Go to the After hours tab.
Switch After-hours matter reflections on or off.
The change is saved as you make it and takes effect from the next night onwards. There is no firm-wide switch: if your firm does not want reflections, each person turns the setting off for themselves.
When it runs
The review runs once a night, at 01:00 UTC. That is about 03:00 in Amsterdam during summer time and about 02:00 in winter. It covers the working day that has just ended, so a case you worked on this afternoon is considered tonight.
Which cases are reviewed
A case is only picked up when the following are true, which is why a quiet day produces no email at all.
You own the case. Reflections follow ownership, not access, so a case a colleague shared with you is their responsibility, not yours.
You worked on it that day, in a substantive session of at least eight messages. Short check-ins are skipped on purpose, because they rarely produce an insight worth an email the next morning.
The case has its own case email address, which is the address the reflection is sent from.
The case is not archived or deleted.
Your firm has not reached its monthly credit limit.
Even when a case qualifies, Andri only writes to you when it has something worth saying. It reviews the day's work, and if the result is not confident enough to be useful it sends nothing. There is no daily summary and no email to tell you there was nothing to report.
Reflections also depend on your firm's plan. If the setting is on and a genuinely busy case never produces one, contact us and we will check whether your plan includes them.
How a reflection reaches you
A reflection arrives as a short email to your own address, sent from the case's own email address rather than a generic system sender, so it stays with that case. Replies go back to the same address.
You can also ask Andri in chat for the most recent reflection on a case.
What gets recorded
Every reflection is logged on the case as an email event, with the sender, the recipient, the subject and the full text, so the case record shows exactly what Andri sent and when. You can read it in the case audit log.
