Mastering @ Mentions
The @ mention feature lets you reference specific documents, actions, templates, and knowledge bases in your prompts, giving the AI precise context for better responses.
How @ Mentions Work
In your case chat, type @ to open the mentions menu. As you type, Andri filters the list to show matching items. Use arrow keys to navigate and press Enter to select, or click with your mouse.
Press the right arrow key three times (→ → →) when an Action is highlighted to quickly execute it.
What You Can @ Mention
Documents: Reference specific files from your case knowledge base. Example: "@contract.pdf what are the payment terms?"
Actions: Run custom workflows you or your firm have created. Example: "@create-distribution-list generate for this bankruptcy case"
Templates: Apply firm templates to generated content. Example: "Draft a settlement letter using @firm-letterhead"
Knowledge Bases: Switch between Case and Company knowledge bases. Example: "@company-kb find our standard engagement letter"
Using @ Mentions for Better Responses
When you @ mention documents, the AI focuses specifically on those files rather than searching your entire knowledge base. This improves accuracy and reduces irrelevant results.
For multi-document analysis, mention multiple files in one prompt: "Compare @contract-v1.pdf and @contract-v2.pdf and highlight all changes."
@ mentions work with partial names. Typing "@contr" shows all documents with "contr" in the filename, making it quick to find the right file.
Switching Knowledge Bases
By default, Andri searches your case knowledge base. To access your company-wide knowledge base, @ mention it: "@company-kb what is our standard hourly rate?" The AI will search company documents instead of case files.
To switch back, use "@case-kb" or simply start a new prompt without mentioning the company KB.
Running Actions with @
Actions are reusable workflows for common tasks. When you @ mention an Action, Andri executes that workflow using your case context. The result is typically a generated Office file (Word, Excel, or PowerPoint) following your specifications.
Create personal Actions for tasks you repeat often. Use @ to run them instantly without rewriting complex prompts.
