Generating Office Files with Tasks

Use Tasks to generate Word, Excel, or PowerPoint files in the background while you keep working in your case.

What you'll need: a case with the relevant documents already added to its knowledge base.

Request a file

In case chat, describe what you need and name the file type.

Create an Excel file with precise amounts per creditor. Also provide a general financial overview.

Andri starts the task in the background and notifies you when the file is ready.

Name the file type in your prompt so Andri creates the correct format.

Check progress

  1. Open your case.

  2. In the left-hand panel, click Open Timeline.

  3. Select Jobs.

The Jobs page shows the status of your file generation tasks.

Refine the result

Use a follow-up prompt to change structure, formatting, branding, or content. You can also reference an earlier file with an @ mention and ask Andri to reuse that format.

If your firm house style is configured, generated files can follow that branding automatically.
