Generating Office Files with Tasks

The Tasks feature lets you generate Microsoft Office files (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) in the background while you continue working. Andri AI pulls data from your knowledge base to create customized documents for your legal cases.

Before you begin: Load relevant documents into your knowledge base (Word files, emails, financial data) for the case you're working on.

Request a file

In the chat interface, describe what you need and explicitly mention the file type:

Create an Excel file with precise amounts per creditor. Also provide a general financial overview of the bankruptcy.

Andri AI confirms your request and begins generating the file in the background. You'll receive a notification when it's ready.

Monitor file generation

To check progress or access completed files:

  1. Click the hamburger menu in the top left corner

  2. Select Tasks

  3. View the status of all your files in one place

Download completed files directly from this view.

Customize your files

Use follow-up prompts to refine your documents. You can:

  • Adopt the structure from another file

  • Add your office logo to each page

  • Adjust formatting or content

  • Request specific sections or data points

Use the @ mention feature to reference previous files when making adjustments.

Always explicitly mention the file type (Excel, Word, or PowerPoint) in your request. This ensures Andri AI generates the correct format.

Legal documents (Word): Create styled documents with legal basis for ranking decisions, complete with your firm's branding.
